Out Now: Interzone Magazine issue #213

The latest issue of the UK's longest-running short science fiction magazine, Interzone has just been mailed out to subscribers by publisher TTA Press and is available to buy from their website and all good genre fiction outlets.

'Interzone #213' ed. by Andy Cox - Click for ordering info from Amazon.co.ukThe cover art for Issue #213 is by Kenn Brown of Mondolithic Studio, and illustrates Chris Roberson's latest 'Celestial Empire' story, 'Metal Dragon Year'. Also included in the issue is Aliette de Bodard's 'The Lost Xuyan Bride' (illustrated by Paul Drummond).

Interzone's Roy Gray tells us: "Coincidentally, these two stories share a similar background: a world where China and the Aztecs are the dominant powers, and where the Spanish either didn’t discover America or were defeated by the Aztecs. Chris and Aliette also describe how they imagined and then developed their alternate worlds."
